Barwon Heads: New Year’s Eve Load Organising with Burn Perspective

By Ryan Dudderidge

With a pretty full on year, we thought what better way to end the year than with a chilled couple of days of fun jumps.

Myself and Rob Wylie from Burn Perspective organised angles and freefly jumps and Jack Ottaway managed the hop’n’pops, filming landings and helping people improve their canopy skills.

We broke the jumpers into groups and aimed 2 jumps with a coach and then moved on with the aim of sharing the coaching between everyone. We even managed to give some of beginner jumpers a few 1 on 1’s with a coach, which was a bargain considering the small rego fee thanks to Skydive Australia.

The weather was perfect down on the Great Ocean Road at Barwon heads DZ for both days and I couldn’t think of a better way to end the year, especially when I managed to get in a cheeky two with Rob on New Year’s Day.

Thanks to everyone that came out to jump to Skydive Australia for sponsoring the event and to all the coaches.

Keep an eye out for the team at Burn Perspective, We have heaps planned for 2023!
