Merry Christmas you lot!
It’s that time of the week again – your weekly round-up of events happening around the country. Have a gander and get involved! If you are heading to any of the Christmas Boogies, make sure you send me lots of pics for a New Year’s round up of all the radness.
Week Commencing 26 December
It’s all about the Christmas Boogies this week so let’s start up North with the TOOGS NEW YEAR BOOGIE 2022 which kicks off on 27 December. 5 Days of Jumping followed by a party on NYE. Pretty sick line up of coaches! Matt Drew, Matt Thomas, Josh Hawkins, Tim Kolln, Natisha Dingle, and Michael Woody Smart. With day tapes provided by Little Wheels Production. Sounds Epic!
Down South, the mad dogs of Shake Don’t Flake are hosting a CHRISTMAS BOOGIE at Sydney Skydivers again starting on the 27th and ending at New Years! A stellar line of coaches including Mossy, Mason, David Collins, Tim Golsby-Smith, Jacob Logan, and Tahi-Paul Monroe with All Beef doing the Day Tapes.
If you fancy a more chilled out vibe rather than a case of nangs before midnight, then head on down to Skydive Oz for their NO BOOGIE CHRISTMAS. Not really a Boogie, just a chilled out few days between Christmas and New Year over the glorious south coast.
Hopping across to South Australia where, from 29 December, SA Skydiving are hosting their NEW YEARS BOOGIE! Good times and mild chaos guaranteed!
Over to Victoria and Simon Colmer and Cam Davey from Halcyon FS will be coaching some Canopy Holiday Star Crests at Skydive Nagambie. Looks super chill and great fun for new and experienced jumpers alike.
And finally, down at Barwon Heads, Burn Perspective will be load organising in the lead up to 2023. Heaps of good times.
Week Commencing 2 January
On 7th and 8th January, the Moruya Skydivers Club will be hosting MooWings at Skydive Oz, coached by Chris ‘Douggs’ McDougall and current world champ Tahi-Paul Monroe. Moo will have the caravan for the weekend, so if you’re a wingsuiter with your crest you’d be absolutely mad not to get involved and learn from the best 😊
And finally, on the 7th Skye Blue will be running Starcrests at Sydney Skydivers. Tick off that New Year’s Resolution early and get that crest signed off. On ya Skye!
